1. Information We Access

Knowledge Forge uses Google OAuth to access your Gmail account solely for the purpose of processing emails you choose to ingest into your personal knowledge vault. The specific Google APIs accessed are:

• Gmail (modify scope) — to read, label, and optionally archive or delete emails that you explicitly choose to process through Knowledge Forge.
• User info (email and profile) — to identify your Google account for authentication.
• Google Drive — to store and retrieve Knowledge Forge data within your own Google Drive.
• Calendar, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Tasks — for optional integration features you may enable.

2. How We Use Your Information

All data accessed through Google APIs is processed locally on your own infrastructure. Knowledge Forge does not transmit your data to any third-party servers. Email content is ingested into your private Obsidian vaults for your personal use only.

No data is collected, stored, or shared with any external service, advertiser, or analytics provider. The application runs entirely on infrastructure you control.

3. Data Storage and Retention

Ingested email content and knowledge base entries are stored in your personal vaults on storage infrastructure you own and manage. You have full control over what is retained or deleted.

4. Data Sharing

Knowledge Forge does not share, sell, or disclose your data to any third party. Your Google account data is used exclusively for the features you activate within Knowledge Forge.

5. Your Choices and Control

You may revoke Knowledge Forge's access to your Google account at any time by visiting Google Account Permissions. You may delete ingested data from your vaults at any time.
